Find Out What Internet Services Are Available in Your Area
The map allows users to search for a specific address or location. If an address is unavailable, users can search by town name and state, or use the “Location” option on the home page. The map can be manipulated by panning and zooming to pinpoint the desired area.
Individual location points: The map displays points indicating buildings or structures, including homes, apartment buildings, and small businesses, where internet services are currently available or potentially accessible. These points become visible when searching for a location or zooming in on the map.
The Fixed Broadband Map: The map displays internet service options (fiber, cable, DSL, satellite, or fixed wireless) available to homes and small businesses. Selecting a location reveals the providers reporting service availability there, including service types/technologies, and maximum advertised download/upload speeds.
The Mobile Broadband Map: This map displays the outdoor 3G, 4G, and 5G coverage areas for various mobile providers, representing where users can connect while outdoors or in a moving vehicle. It enables a comparison of mobile wireless coverage reported by different providers.

Who Has the Best Internet Service?
We provider hinges on individual needs and priorities, with speed often being a key factor. Determining the “best” provider requires considering factors like cost, contract terms, and desired download/upload speeds. Ultimately, the optimal choice depends on the user’s specific requirements and the availability of services in their area.
Fiber-optic connections are the fastest: Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) internet provides the fastest available broadband speeds compared to all other types of internet connections.
Cable internet is a widely available alternative when fiber internet options like FTTH, FTTP, FTTB, or FTTC are unavailable. Utilizing DOCSIS 3.1 technology on hybrid fiber coax (HFC) networks, cable internet can deliver gigabit speeds.
In rural areas where cable and fiber internet aren’t options, fixed wireless and 5G Home internet offer fast download speeds. 5G internet is easy to install, becoming more available, and increasing in speed.
DSL internet is a widely available wired option that utilizes telephone lines to provide internet access, making it accessible to customers in many regions. While not the fastest type of internet connection, its broad availability makes it a viable option for those with existing telephone lines.
Satellite internet serves as a viable solution for individuals in remote areas, and with the emergence of providers like Starlink, it is increasingly becoming a faster and more practical alternative to traditional wired internet.
